Formed in Tokyo in 1987, (BJC) consisted of Kenichi "Benzie" Asai (vocals/guitar), Toshiyuki Terui (bass), and Tatsuya Nakamura (drums). They emerged at the end of the Japanese "band boom" but quickly distinguished themselves with a visceral sound that fused punk, rockabilly, garage rock, and blues.
